Now the responsibility shifts.

He must carry his stepmother, his siblings, and himself through a world that suddenly feels too heavy.

He finishes college by grace alone.

Two long years pass without work. Two years of knocking on doors that never open. Two years of watching hope shrink.

He tries to join the army—his father’s path.

But times have changed.

And a young man’s spirit can only take so much disappointment.

So, he asks himself a question that would change everything:

“What if I try Dubai?”

Recruitment agents want money he doesn’t have.

So, he turns to one of his father’s old friends.

After a year of working in Dubai, the young man returns home—not defeated, but transformed.

He goes back to his father’s friend with a bold idea:

“What if we build something that helps others the way you helped me?

What if we create a company that gives young people a chance to rewrite their future?”

The idea takes root.

The friend believes.

His siblings believe.

And on 23rd May 2016, Explorer Dubai Ltd is born.

Not as a business.

Our first office was barely an office.

Three chairs.

Just transport money and posho and beans for lunch.

Jordan opened its doors first.

Free recruitment.

Commission-based earnings.

A lifeline.

Then Jordan closed.

But Saudi Arabia opened—and everything changed.

Saudi Arabia needed Ugandan workers urgently.

No recruitment fees.
