The positions are: –

  1. 10 Pastry/Bakery commis 1, Monthly salary: Ugx2,000,000/-
  2. 10 Pastry/Baker commis, monthly salary: Ugx1,900,000/-
  3. 10 Pastry/Bakery commis 3, monthly salary: Ugx1,500,000

Requirements
• Mature candidates with relevant working experience in restaurants
• At least a diploma in the relevant field

Job details

• Recruitment fees: 3,710,000 Ugandan shillings, payable only after job selection, travel document processing, and visa issuance.

  • Working hours: 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, and 26 days a month.
  • Work Location: Kuwait.

Application Process

The recruitment process involves the following steps: CV creation and submission, screening, interviews, selection, medical examination, job offer, visa processing, ticket issuance, and travel arrangements. The entire process is expected to take approximately 90 days from start to completion.

Job Responsibilities:

Pastry/Bakery Commis

• Measuring, weighing, and preparing baking ingredients before mixing and assembling.
• Assisting in mixing, kneading, rolling, and shaping doughs for breads, pastries, and desserts.
• Operating and monitoring ovens, mixers, and proofers while adhering to proper baking times and temperatures.
• Following instructions from the pastry chef or head baker to finish, assemble, and decorate pastries or plated desserts.
• Ensuring all workstations, tools, and equipment are constantly sanitized and comply with food safety standards.
• Receiving and appropriately storing inventory, as well as reporting any shortages or low-quality ingredients to senior staff.
• Storing leftover ingredients, wrapping baked goods securely, and helping keep storage and walk-in cooler areas organised
