Requirements
• Mature candidates with relevant working experience.
• We are looking for heavy truck and trailer drivers for 3 types of jobs, Standard trailer, container chassis, road train.
• Must posses a valid driving license with a CE class and over 3years’ experience driving heavy trucks or trailers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to meet specific client requirements (Preference will be given to Male candidates, strictly based on occupational requirements and without any form of discrimination).

Job Details

• Monthly Salary: 12,044,229 -13,047,915. Uganda shillings
• Salary is based on the performance of the driver, and also some bonuses can be added based on good driving behaviour/eco drive etc.

• Work Location: Poland

• Recruitment fees: 5,928,000 Ugandan Shillings , payable only after job selection, travel document processing, and visa issuance.

Application Process
The recruitment process involves the following steps: CV creation, submission, screening, interviews, selection, medical examination, job offer, ticket issuance, and travel arrangements.

So, once the company chooses the driver, they apply for a work permit in Poland. For that, they need all pages of the passport.
After we get the work permit, we can send it to you, and the driver needs to set an appointment.
Also for that, we can send the working contract and recommendation/demand letter for drivers in Poland.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
We shall describe the processes for each type of work.

1.Container chassis we are working with picking up laoded/empty contianers in Rail terminals. Then, with the container on the truck, we are going for loading/offloading and coming back later to the rail terminals.
We drive in the whole Europe- Germany/France/Italy/Spain/Belgium/Netherlands/Poland/Czech Republic/Slovakia.
Drivers are working according to the transportation law, so the maximum they can drive 9hr or 10 hours per day, with working day not longer than 13 hours or 15 hours.

  1. Mega trailer/road train
    Also, we are working in the whole of Europe; we are delivering cargo on pallets or loose type of cargo. The driver is responsible for securing the goods on the trailer.
    Sometimes it can happen that the driver is loading the cargo using a “pallet truck” onto the truck. But pallets are not heavy, can be 100kg per pallet.

Drivers are working according to the transportation law, so the maximum he can drive is 9hr or 10 hours per day, with working days not longer than 13 hours or 15hr a day.
Loadings and offloadings can be very different, but with places that are accessable by truck.

  1. Each driver arrives at our place to get ready for work and then starts driving,
    Trucks are equipped with beds, and nights/weekends in the job, drivers are in the truck.
  2. Trucks usually are loaded in the factories – building materials, FMCG, textiles, cargo is being delivered directly to the client or other warehouse
