Requirements
• Mature candidates with relevant working experience in their home country
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
• Teaching certification/license (if applicable)
• Experience working with kindergarten or grade 1 / early years learners (preferred)
• Strong English communication skills (teaching and classroom interaction)

The kindergarten teacher and grade 1 teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in an English-language classroom. The teacher will create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment while promoting early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development.
• Language of instruction: English
• She must have a strong command of English and be able to teach, communicate, and support classroom learning effectively in English.
Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Details

Working hours: 8 hours per day, 6 days a week, totalling 26 days each month.

• Monthly salary: Ugx3,000,000/=

Application Process

The recruitment process involves the following steps: creating and submitting a CV, screening, conducting interviews, making a selection, undergoing a medical examination, issuing a job offer, arranging ticket issuance, and making travel arrangements. The entire process is expected to take approximately 90 days from start to completion.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver age-appropriate lessons using English as the primary language of instruction
• Teach and reinforce classroom routines and behaviour expectations
• Support early literacy (phonics, letter recognition, vocabulary, storytelling)
• Support early numeracy (counting, number sense, basic math concepts)
• Observe, assess, and document student progress; adjust instruction as needed
• Create an inclusive classroom environment and support students with diverse needs
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and collaborate with staff
• Follow school policies and safeguarding/safety procedures
