Canada.

The work system in Canada is highly flexible depending on the type of work one is doing. Some jobs require full time while others require part-time. Most summer jobs are part-time jobs since they are majorly for students and short visit workers.

In Canada, full-time workers have a standard working time of 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.

Federally regulated employees are entitled to 1 full day of rest every week. This day usually falls on Sunday.

In case there is a holiday in a week, the working time reduces by 8 hours for a holiday. 

Any hour worked more than the 8 hours of the day is paid separately. Over time, the pay scale is 1.5 times the usual wages paid per hour.

At least a break of rest will be awarded to every worker upon working for 5 hours consecutively without rest. 

On average, workers in Canada earn an annual salary of $68,250 per year or $35 per hour. Entry-level vacancies start at $48,750 per year, while most experienced workers earn up to $97,500 per year.
